Yeahhh... So I feel like I just stepped out of a time machine! It's been a heck of a long time since I updated this, let alone done any art for DA. I finally got a better camera! XD Hehe. About time huh? Well, technically I got it summer of 07, but here we go! Expect some artistic stuff in the near future. [Nods]

Well, I guess I should say something about my life in this "journal". So uh, here it goes:

I'm currently at McMaster University, living on residence. I've been caught in between two notions: To "Do something which I think I could be good at." vs. To "Do something that I really want to do." Bleh. Sounds like the easy choice, no? Because if I really want to do something, I'll always have the drive to do it and will eventually do well, right? The only catch is that: How do I know that it'll always be something that I want to do? Ugh.

Since middle school, I've always done things for other people (family, friends, heck, even strangers) because I realized that their happiness became my happiness. I came to uni thinking the same thing. Then I realized that without people, I would be lost. It's taken me a long time to realize that one should live for themself first, that one should love themself before others. Maybe this logic isn't perfect, but I think it's time to try out the other side. Maybe me, myself and I can achieve greater things.

Actually, now's a good time for quotes that I felt have a lot of meaning to me:

I used to think exactly like Jiraiya. If I lived for other people, from this self-sacrifice, one day I would be granted something even greater. Haha... Ha. This was mostly influenced by what I thought about love (which is what Kaien so nicely puts into words). It's too bad that I didn't realize that I wasn't cut out for this sooner. It cost me 15k. So now what, you ask? Well, with the realization: "Who will believe in me, if not myself?", I've decided to go with plan B. Wish me luck.

What's plan B, you ask? Hehe. Can't tell you yet! I'll let you know when I get there. If I can. >_>; I'm not 100% sure yet, but I'm hoping. Fine, a hint? "It involves unleashing this burning desire to stab things over and over again!" *Evil laughter* [Pushes Sweeny Todd out of the way] *Coughs* Whoops, didn't mean to let him out of the closet >_>; I was about to say: It involves creativity, imagination, and a certain chair...

It's 8:30 am. Yay. Breakfast. Time for a pie.
